Slow Morning Visual: Periwinkle Aardvark in a Mustard Suit

I awoke in slomo one morning with the phrase “periwinkle aardvark in a mustard suit” on my lips. I don’t know why. I don’t care. In my “executive network” mode of deadlines, meetings and schedules, I have to understand and explain, unpack and cogitate. I have to make sense of things that don’t make sense or aren’t working. That is not required of me in the “default network,” that trance state that serves up delectables from my subconscious. That I cannot explain the origin of these ideas is what makes that dynamic an intriguing experience.
