And it’s invigorating!
As a kid, whenever I had sniffles, my dad brewed me tea of hot water, honey, and lemon. This combination, along with ginger and turmeric, is considered an immune system booster. These days, stores are capitalizing on this ol’ skool home remedy with expensive commercially packaged “shots” of ginger and turmeric.
You can make a tub of this for pennies. Here’s my version.

Ingredients
10 ounces water or your favorite decaffeinated tea
Raw honey
1 freshly squeezed lemon; 2 if you like lemon
Ground Turmeric
Black pepper
Cayenne Pepper
For an extra kick and medicinal boost, add fresh grated ginger.
Preparation
Combine ingredients and drink up!
